CRYOTHERAPY

Cryotherapy is cryogenic therapy where you expose your body to sub-zero temperatures for 3 minutes to achieve whole body wellness goals. Improves sleep, reduces inflammation, aches & pains, improved immunity, better mood, aids in weightloss. You can burn between 500-800 calories in one session.

the science behind cryotherapy

During your session, your body launches into a powerful anti-inflammatory & survival response in conjunction with a release of norepinephrine while your blood vessels & muscle tissue constrict, forcing blood away from your peripheral tissue and to your core. In the core, the body's natural filtration system works to remove toxins from the blood.

After exiting the cryo cabin, blood flows back to the peripheral tissues but now enriched with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes. Your blood warms the skin & muscle tissue. This is where you burn 500-800 calories. Your body is doing the hard work to reheat itself back to normal temperatures.

Over the next 48 hours, the process of restoration occurs & the body returns to a former and better state/condition. Patients report benefits that include reduced pain & inflammation, better & deeper sleep, increased energy levels, and shorter recovery times from injury or workouts. 

how to prepare:

If it is your first time, we recommend showing up five minutes before your appointment time so you can fill out any forms needed.

While you are in the cryo cabin, you will want to wear as little clothing as possible.

Examples of what to wear: Males: boxers & Females: sports bra/biker shorts

Remove any eye glasses, watches, apple watches, metal, etc.

Please wear socks and closed toed shoes. *shoes are required while in the cryo cabin*

Mittens are also required while you are in the cryo cabin. You may bring your own or use the ones we provide.
